I have a PS2 Slimline
Model No. SCPH-90004 Datecode: 0C
Can you people tell me al the soft mods i can do with my ps2?
BTW I had a PS2 Slimline with SCPH-77004 Datecode: 7C But the ps2 laser broke
So can you plz anwser my question above and what shall i do with that ps2?

I've tried to install the MCboot in this console and even the Mc detect the files, isn't launch when start the PS2.

Well, I had a sealed silver PS2 I planned on selling but it became too much of a hassle to get anything more than $50 for it. I figured I'd keep it if it could run FMCB, but I couldn't determine by the outside of the box whether it was possible. It's a satin silver SCPH-90001, and of course the date couldn't be told by the outside of the box. I caved and opened it anyway, hoping... and the bottom is stamped with the beautiful "8B". That makes me a winner, right?!

Now if only I could get FMCB somewhere...

OK sorry if this has been ascked already been searching this site and others for a few days trying to figure this stuff out....am a complete noob at this and the techno jargon i have come across is just baffeling...I have a PS2 silver slim SCPH 900018c. Have codebreaker 8.1 have tried alot of things to be able to use flash drive on console, refornmated 4 usb flash drives to fat32, tried imageburning iso files for MCboot, notyhing nadda zip zilch zero nein.........am so confuted right now not even funny......

Normally FMCB will work in any console before the release of SCPH-9000X. I have a SCPH-70004 (PAL) and works fine

hello mr. , i have a 90004 ps2 date code 1c ,with mod chip matrix infinity and it shows 1.93 version . can free mcboot be installed in my ps2(without swap magic method) . please explain a bit.
i'm a slow learner . help please !!!!

I guess you can burn an action replay or codebreaker iso on a dvd and use it to install FMCB.
(the codebreaker works only on american consolles, for what I read)
