What problems were you having with the swap trick? If you give us some info we might be able to help.

Do you know anyone with a modded ps2? (FMCB, modchip, etc.) If you do, you could use that to install FMCB.

Other than that, you'd have to send your mc to someone to have FMCB installed, which would cost you postage.

    Take the PS2 apart!
To be exact,... Just take the upper part of the case off, remove the thingy on the disc-drive which includes the white plastic-wheel&magnet (the thing which holds your discs in place) and use the 'white wheel' without the drives cover.

in fact i was planning to buy "swap magic" but he told me "FMCB" is far better compatibility and easier to use>

i'd like to inform u that:
    A- i have many NTSC/UC games
B- i don't want to open PS2 and do any thing even if it was to plug a spot in cotton xD
    C- I'll buy an original-not modded "PAL" PS2 SLIM SCPH-90004 CB
D: i understand that BIOS has to be 8B or less tho i think it's kinda impossible nowadays

    my questions:
1- as we all know i cant run NTSC games on PAL PS2, will i be able to play'em all with "FMCB" 100% ?
2- is there any incompatibility issues out there ?
3- is there any parts that i need or it all just a memory card and software ? if so, will i be need a new memory card specially for "FMCB" or can i use it normally to save games without crash or delete problems?
4- after use "FMCB", will I be saying farewell for all "internally modded PS2" and "magic swap" ?

mmm that's it for now until i see some answers

    regards

Short answer is ESR that comes with FMCB runs almost all games
That means PAL and NTSC if you can't it is most likely your TV can not support NTSC but with program GSM you can try to force PAL
OK MC after install acts the same as a normal MC so yes you can save games to MC with no problems
If you have Swap Magic you can install FMCB with no modding of system but Swap Magic must be 3.6 or 3.8 Coder and not a burned copy
