SCPH-79001 Data Code: 7B, James Bond Swap Trick –

Hello, does the James Bond Swap Trick work with the SCPH-79001, It's data code is 7B,
If it does, i have tried it but every single time i switch discs and click on the mission, the screen turns black and nothing happens.
And sometimes the thumb drive that i put in the PS2 doesn't glow.

It worked for me when I tried it on my SCPH-79001. You might be swapping discs at the wrong time. When you swap discs, does the burned disc keep spinning? If it doesn't, you're swapping at the wrong time. Try swapping at a time where the laser isn't reading the disc (you'll know when because the laser will go all the way back but the disc will keep spinning). Also, try using a different port or a different flash drive for the glowing issue.

Thanks a ton for replying. The disc continues to spin after i switch discs and i can even go back to the main menu or move around with the burned version, but when i click on level 2 and click x to start it, the screen turns black, no mcboot pops up. Does this mean i burned the game wrong? Or didn't put the correct things in my flash drive? If so can someone link me to a guide they followed that worked.

in the first instance, the flash drive does not interfere with anything, which is uLaunchELF should start.
something is wrong in the game that you recorded.
you did right, with procedures to modify the iso of the game, with the file DRIVING.ELF

Im not sure i understand what you said completely, are you saying i burned the disc incorrectly? Do i need to burn it again? Or are you saying i messed up with the files on the flash drive.
Plus can anyone link me to a guide they used.

Each game has its ways of doing but the basics are the same. (I've done with a four different games, and it works)
for the James Bond game, the tutorial is that it: PS2 Game Swap Trick
or that PS2 Softmod Install
