I'm considering in getting a PS2 and installing FMCB among other things, but I was wondering what method of installation would be the most adequate. I'm asking because I have seen some threads addressing an issue with USB drives with Codebreaker and I kind of had decided that was the method I would be using.
Until now I've read the tutorials by Bootlegninja for FMCB installation and the methods that would work for me would be Action Replay Max Evo, Codebreaker or Swap Magic. The thing is, the new PS2 that I would get probably is SCPH-7500x or higher, so that leaves Codebreaker out I guess (right?). Regarding Action Replay Max Evo, it seems that some versions don't have the media player that is required son it would be kinda troublesome. And then there is Swap Magic, which now seems to be the most reliable; I need it to be 3.6 or 3.8, but I don't know if it needs to be Coder or not.
The problem really lies that where I live, no matter what, getting a copy of either one of those discs is really difficult and expensive. Most video game sellers don't have them and/or won't bring them over, although I have found a place that might get me a copy of one of those, so I want to make sure that I get the best one to meet my needs.
Sorry for the long post but I would really appreciate any advice or comments you can give me. Thanks in advance!
