Out of all the games on the list, I only have Ratchet Deadlocked. Has anyone tried this and have it work, and if so where do you swap the disks? I want to install FreeMCBoot on my slim ps2, so any advice would be most appreciated.

if it has an .ELF file its good for something. If it doesnt pick up a 007 agent under fire cd. Just google mcboot and click the first link. Thats the main page and then go to installations and click ps2 game swap trick.
Well, I cracked open my ps2 to tape down the little switch so I could do the swap trick to run back-ups of my PSX games, if that is what you mean.Quote:

Does the game have an ELF file?
Oh okay its a slim. Being that, you must block 3 senors to run a disc without it stopping so you can swap it. Theres tons of tutorials on youtube and the web, check them out.
First off, I already blocked the sensors so I can swap disks and I tried the disk swap with Ratchet: Deadlocked and when I went to where I was supposed to go, it sent me to the "please insert psx or ps2 format disk" screen.
Secondly, I looked at many of those tutorials, and all those require either Action Replay Max, Swap Magic, or something like that. I just have a Gameshark (it says on the disk v1.2).
Also, would it be possible if someone could test the following games to see if they will work.
The games I have that may work are:
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Ratchet & Clank 3:Up Your Arsenal
I would test these myself except the apache program does not run very well on my computer, that and how my computer is just plain slow most of the time.
OK how about you just search on the forum the swap trick and find games compatible.
Its not hard to rent a game to use to mod your ps2.
