i have the fat ps2 with the network adapter, the original sony hard drive installed and a MC of 8 mb, and i want to know if i can take my hard drive plug it into a computer and put there the installation files to install the FMCB into my MC
No. The Sony firmware will not boot any homebrew program you install to the HDD.

Also, even if you have HDLoader and/or modchip, the current FMCB v1.6 installer package needs to be run from USB in order to work correctly.
Typically you would use HDLoader or modchip methods to boot uLaunchELF from a boot disc (whether a physical disc, or an image installed on HDD for HDLoader), and then use uLaunchELF to start the FMCB installer from a USB drive.
Also, there's a potential problem with modchips, in that some of them interfere with the FMCB installation.
