PS2 Swap Trick - General Questions

No Luck however I am not sure of the timing required of when to re switch the discs up just trying trial and error but so far no Ulanuch screen yet. Sorry it took so long I really don't like to give up on things so I've been at it since posting. Gotta be careful when doing this i have scratched my disc managed to keep it working tho but Using the tutorial method it does not go to ulaunch but it runs the same game from burned disc so I may have to try rebuilding a new image to apply the ulaunch exploit as i think this is my problem.

hmm sounds really ennyoing this problem :/ i now think about to buy "007: Agent under Fire", because everywhere it is said, that this game works surely!
or i heard about some guys who take some littlte money for putting FMCB on your MemomyCard and sening them back... maybe i have to do so...

I'm having the same problem, tried double swapping at the New/Edit option, which usually either loads the red screen error or the network config program (oddly enough with the swapped disc instead of the original). I've tried normal swapping at the main menu, and even waiting until just after the verification check on the disc when push X on New/Edit. I dunno where everyone's getting Add/Edit from because that's not even on the menu. I've checked my ps2 for compatibility and read multiple times that it should work (90001 datecode 8b). I'm really getting frustrated. I've followed the swap trick tutorial to the T, changing the file names and game names where appropriate (NTGUI ELF and Need for speed Underground 2). I used imgburn to make the image and burn it, and used Apache v1.1 to change the SIZE of the ntgui elf to 915169 which is the file size of the new file, and used the same program to insert the ulauncher using update selected file. I'm ready to throw everything out the window. Will try with burnout 3 demo on the disc, but I expect the same results.

EDIT: I couldn't get burnout 3 demo to work either. I DID get SLEDDEMO ELF to work on demo disc 59 using double swap (swap at the intro video, says something along the lines of welcome to playstation volume 59) pick the sled game, press X on the controls screen, as soon as laser moves down, swap with original, as soon as it moves back up, swap back to the burnt disc.

I am having the same issue with MSG3: Snake Eater. I have a PS2 Slim Console Version SCPH-75001. I have been at it for 2 days now. I have burned at 4x and 2x. Followed the tutorial to the t to no avail. Using ImgBurn to make a copy of the original game and apache v1 to modify the iso. This crap is pissing me off! Has anyone found a solution yet?
