    Hi Is there any way to install fmcb on my ps2 (FAT SCPH-30003) with broken dvd drive? (i have NA + HDD) I have my friend's ps2 slim too (SCPH-75004, moded with modbo) and dumped bios from my ps2. I try to install fmcb via pcsx2 on emu's mc (in my friend's theory after install on pcsx2 and changing mcid in pcsx's mc (mcid from my mc to pcsx's mc) and write this dump to real card this method theoretically should work but pcsx2 hang after select any option in fmcb 1.8b )

    Anybody have an idea for solution to install fmcb on my ps2?

    //Sorry, I don't speak english good

    you have to install Free MC Boot on a PS2 console. It can not be done using an emulator. If you have no one with a SCPH-xxxx3 game console, you should get in contact with an installer in this thread ([READ FIRST POST!][Free Service!]I can install fmcb for you!) to see about getting FMCB installed on your memory card.

    Your MG-03-PS2 and your MG-04-PS2 should have compatible regions.
    You should try simply to install it onto your MC with his modded PS2.

    So,... WHAT isnīt working?
    What happens, if you try to install it to your MC?
    Does it sucessfully install?
    If yes, what happens if you plug-in this MC into the other Console?

    BlackScreen, Normal Menu, FMCB-Logo and hanging, or what???

    Aaaah,... And you know, how the MCID is generated?
    The DVDELF.bin where you get the MCID from + the one, where you want to inject it into must be of the exact same size.

    My friend wrote a small app to reading/change mcid in real cards or dumps.
