Yesterday I did the disc swap trick to install free mcboot, but before I did I set my ps2 to full screen under system configuration which caused it to fill up most of my screen (stretched the image on my HDTV) which was just fine and how I wanted it, there were just two thin thin black borders to the left and right, I was even on composite cables, I installed free mcboot and everything was still the same, I just didn't mess with it because I was waiting for my component cables to arrive in the mail.

I got them today, plugged them in and fullscreen still continued to stretch the image, I decided to look around and went into "Simple Media System" on Free McBoot to see if I could change the resolution to perhaps get rid of the 2 small black borders. After changing the resolution in that it seems my ps2 is locked in 4:3, even when I go into fullscreen mode it simply wont stretch the image like before, I changed the settings on it back to default but I'm still stuck.
