PS2 Game Swap Trick question

hi, i wanna now what mean:
Keep in mind, that the disc-swap is time-dependent (since the disc isn't stopped) and sliding with a slide-card will most likely not work!!! Open up your PS2 and swap the discs, this way!

Once i remove the two black piece,i have to remove the up cover of the dvd drive?
and keep that down when is running?(maybe the dvd fly without that..and disco laser in my room..)?

ok i explaine what i'm doing, maybe someone can help me:

the game for swap triks i found is GUNBIRD SPECIAL EDITION;
this CD is 370mb (quick to bkup) for ps2 and my model is SCPH-30004.

I burn the iso, open with Apache, change the size of TOC, refresh the file and reburn it, like manual in fmcb site; turn on ps2, and eject the cd at start when ask language and screen and insert the backup CD...press X and i see blank screen; if i reinsert the original not so far, it work.

I have changed the file SLES_530.21 in root, but the cd have a sub directory called MODULES full ELF files with exstension IRX
but when i try to open the folder with apache, it close. i'd like change all the file inside that, bicouse when the game is started, i can select if i want play with gunbird or gunbird2

To swap the discs use the white magnetic round plastic thing and just put that on top of the disc.

ok, i watch youtube and i see what you mean...now i know what is swap... ok give me some time, now i try it.

....... I think samething is broken but i don't know what; if is the CD or the ps2, because after opened it, the play sad disk error data.
i had try other DVD like mgs2, doa2 and they works!

ok, my ps2 can read CD only when stand up, so i start in this position and after lay down it.

that what i see:
the original CD spin very fast and after swap, the backup cd go very slow. reason? i think that's no good...
