@ magneto x7, Do you have the Sensors blocked on your PS2???

You need that to be able to do a swap..... If not every time you open the lid, it resets the PS2...

I tried to block the two sensors but it doesn't work.

I block the first on the outside of the console w/paper & the 2nd w/straw.

Are there 2 or 3 sensors for the schp 77001?

Madden 07 and Socom 3 did not work for me... My PS2 is sensor modded, the games themselves run fine from backups, but when I try to trigger the uLaunchELF, i get the "Insert a PS/PS2 disk" screen

Here's another game to add to your "Does Not Work" list

-Mortal Kombat Armageddon [SLUS 21410GH] [does not work] (Replaced NTGUI.ELF, but disc check was performed before it was launched in every situation I tried in the Online Play area. No other *.ELF to replace on disc.)

And of course, this one worked just fine:

-007: Agent Under Fire [SLUS 20265GH] [works](Replaced DRIVING.ELF, swapped at main menu, started up 2nd level, and ulaunchELF started right up)

    PS2:
    SCPH-50001/N
    net card addon

Socom 2, Socom 3 and Madden 07 did not work.

007: Agent Under Fire worked perfectly though, and was only $3.50 at my local GameStop. A lot cheaper than the cost of DVD's I wasted on trying to get the above 3 games to work

Tried PAL (if it makes a difference) versions of Ratchet & Clank 3 (NTGUI.ELF & SLY2.ELF) and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (GUI.ELF, as mentioned on http://freemcboot.info/swap.php)

All resulted in "Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 disc" errors.

First please if you think this post or part of it doesn't belong here feel free to move it!

Unfortunately I confirm that Hitman Blood Money (at least the PAL/European version) is checking the DVD when lauching the URBAN.ELF (the demo); ...so I sugest if nobody (except the first poster) confirmed it worked until know to be retrieted from the list of working DVDs; so maybe we spare the money for people going to buy this game for this pourpouse.

Battlefront 2 - was useless for me too, as he claims for LAN adapter to launch the file (BTW this was all on FAT 5004) and I don't have one. So any other game based on Netgui or any LAN invoked ELf would be useless.

So beeing hopless couse the only game could do the trick for me looks to be 007 Agent Under Fire wich I couldn't find in any store, I start to mod the Hitman Back-up DVD with some older IRX files, which gave me one "almost hapy" result.

I have a Verbatim 2Gb USB wich have a led idicator for working, so after swaping with my moded Hitman dvd (some IRX files replaced with older ones and uLaunch 4.4 replaicing all the Elf files) after the PS2 checks for genuine CD when launching the demo or when exiting the demo, I got not any "Replace CD" screen, instead it stays on black screen and Laser trigering in same place; I let it even an hour this way and nothing happend.
The intresting thing is if I swap back the original DVD game let it 1 minute and hit reset, my USB led starts lighting. This make me think that or I'm the dummiest or I am the luckiest founding a way to make my PS2 to read some part of uLaunch.

Of course that isn't much as I can't use it as long as uLaunch don't start, but with this in mind I wrote another dvd exacly the same with the LBA increased by one (2048 b) for the main SLES file and by two (4096 b) for the DEMO, wich unfortunately didn't work as the laser will still triger the original LBA.

I even try to learn and modify uLaunch with PS2Dis for duplicating the code so that to force the console to read all the code from it not only a part, but this program looks to be far away from my understanding capabilities, so please, can any body with some kowledge in programing make me a modified uLaunch 4.4 so that the code in it will be repeated!?

If my first thought was wright and I'm only the dummiest please feel free to delete this post or part of it. Anyway thank you for your patient to read all of it!

    PS - excuse my english!

FIFA 06 also works fine on a 30001R ps2 following this method...

-Select "Online Mode" from the main menu (it's recommended to have a saved profile for the game on Memory card)
-Select "Add/Edit" option (configure a new account and then go to the "Add" option again)
-The screen goes to black & then ulaunchelf appears!

Thanks for sharing the discovery and make it possible!

swap was made at the main menu.

    Thanks RigoHoward :]
and like he said thanks for sharing the discovery :]
