Problem installing mc boot
Problem installing mc boot –

hello all my problem is that: i tried to install mc boot using the action replay max method and i install the "NEW_FILE" to memory card using Action replay max but after i enter the ps1 cd into the tray,mc boot install menu dosnt show up and the game proceed and go to the main menu...i tried installing and reinistall the "NEW_FILE" million of times and i used more then 2 ps1 cds,
any ideas why this is happening?

Have u take a look at the Tutorials ?
Wich version of AR Max do u have. => EVO or not ?

I have ar max non evo and i followed the tutorial and did every step, i also open my ps2 to clean the lens because i have some problems with reading discs errors but still it aint gonna work...

I think the NEW_FILE that he's talking about is the save name that he has to create and maybe this is his problem
Note : Some versions will not accept the folder name of " NEW_FILE ", so change it to your region by naming it accordingly:
BADATA-SYSTEM - for NTSC - U/C
BEDATA-SYSTEM - for PAL
BIDATA-SYSTEM - for NTSC - J
I will still refer to this in the rest of the guide as NEW_FILE, so you will know its the same one I'm referring to.

You can check your PS2 version at this site, although it only goes up to version 15. The other way of getting the PS2 Model number is by pressing the Triangle button (/\) at the PS2 menu screen. It will be whatever you see next to "Console".
