Problem installing Free MC boot

First of all, sorry if this question have been posted before, I was unable to find it using search.

well I have a Code Breaker v10 and I tried to install free mc boot using this guide

anyway, my problem is, I can't seem to get into the mass:/ folder, whenever I click circle on it, the ps2 always freeze.

ps. I'm using the original PS2

Anyone know a solution to this problem.

oh nvm, apparently it was just a usb problem

yeah from 75000x and above CB freeze whenever there is a usb device connected to PS2
