Problem on 2nd console

i did a solid for a friend of mine and did an Install to his memcard (8MB Sony) it was working fine on my console (same console model) but he just got it in the mail today. and its like Nothings happeneing. no extra variables are interfeering (64MB card/network adapter removed/no modchip) he doesnt even see "Free MCBoot" at power on (the logo)

and are they the same Region ? if yes then did you used Multi-Version ?

same region and no didnt use multi-version

use multi-version ..( uses with the same region in different version )
