    Here try this:

    http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials...r_dummies.html

There is a download in it for Noobies Package, all you need to do is put the files on a USB stick and run the FREE_MCBOOT.ELF, you dont need to do anyhting with the files and it should work just fine.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

Don't know if this will be much help but I did my FMCB 1.8b install using a burned CD and it worked great.

If you have a SwapMagic disc or any other way to boot a burned CD, I can guide you on how I did my installation.

    Take care.

Well its really hard to know what you have done wrong ....without knowing what you did.

I could sit here and write all the possibilities that could go wrong, but its much easier if you just tell us what you did, then we can try to help.

When using SwapMagic retail disc you need to follow the tutorial to use it with a USB stick:

    http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials..._swapmagic.htm

Also make sure your USB sticks are formatted FAT32

Did you name the folders and apps as the swapmagic tutorial said? Did you try other USB devices?

I want to help, but your not telling me anything useful that you have done. Just saying "its not working" doesnt tell me anything.
    I am doing this:
    1 - allocates swapmagic 3.6 in ps2
2 - charges usb drive and memorycard in ps2
3 - power on, but not usb drive, I try with several USB drives and nothing happens, or block or nothing appears on the menu.
1- allocates? dont know what you mean by that, im guessing you mean "booted swapmagic 3.6 in ps2
2- charges? Im guess you mean "inserted" and those should be inserted before you start the console.
3- you need to prepare those files on the USB as outlined in the tutorial i linked for SwapMagic.....did you?
