PAL game is playing oddly

Hey, psx-s. I put in a PAL version of Persona 3 FES (every other torrent gave me cycle redundancy errors) and it started up normally, with all the weird colors. Took a little longer to boot up, but only half of the game was displayed when it came up. It was also black and white. Is there anything I can do about this? I'm using v1.8 of FMCB.

Using torrents to download copyrighted material is illegal.
