newest fmcb + hdl + v9

Just wondering if you still need to have the tray ejected or a disk in it for hdl to launch games when booted with the newer fmcb on a V9. I haven't tried since fmcb 1.6 but am interested to try again since I got the ol;d ps2 out when I found persona4 was released...I use fmcb to boot hdl and it(hdl) only launches games if I remember to eject the tray before launching. Thanks

That problem was happening with both uLE and FMCB. It has been fixed in both programs now. If you download the FMCB 1.8b noob pack in the tutorial I would recommend replacing the uLE version (BOOT.ELF) that comes with it to the just released ver 4.28, that fixes v9+ DVD initialization problems.

I'm afraid you got a crucial typo there, as it was uLE v4.38 that you meant above...
