I'll leave him to make the release... but I can say that the loader part of this "mini OPL" was not derived from OPL. It's development shared the same path as PS2ESDL - originally based on another loader before it was totally rewritten to the point where it's not even the similar.

Okay, I'm done arguing with you, yoshi. Taking the source code of something covered under AFL, making a derivative work out of it and effectively making it closed source directly contradicts the terms of the license.
And this is all a moot point for the moment anyway without knowing l_oliveira's intentions on the matter. lol

and the rest can be found a bitbucket and the installer was wrote by them and also the encrypter so no need for that to be open if they want it that way :D
There's no secrets on Mini OPL, as stated by SP193, it's his loader program along with a lot of mods, changes and other stuff done by me.
A second version of MINI exists, but since it uses PS2ESDL EE core it would be fair call it MINI PS2ESDL lol. Still it uses OPL IOP side code, which makes it a hybrid ! lol

You, sir (bfoos) seem to have a very, very wrong idea about me. I don't mind sharing my mods and I've done it already on several threads.
Mini is slightly useless as an loose ELF. You can see once you compile it and try to use. Look at bootgame.c on how to make it boot a single game without need argv.
Also make sure you disable PS2 logo display as it requires the ISO to have a decrypted copy of the logo there. You will end with a black screen if your PS2 is of the kind that checks the logo before displaying.
Finally, MINI at the moment uses static configuration but I plan in the future make it use the original HDLOADER compatibility flags mask for it's internal settings.
What I cannot discuss and will not enter on any details is how such a ELF is made bootable as it will very likely cause us BIG TROUBLE with the big enemy crab.

Sources will compile into normal ELFs. ELFs are further processed in a undisclosed method and the bootable files are the result.
