New to this, I have FMcB installed - now what –
I have recently decided to set up my PS2 Slim with Free McBoot as I want to play my PS2 games on my HDTV. I bought a component cable recently but unless a game has the 'Progressive Scan' at the beginning, it looks worse than a DS monitor handling 3D.
Now I have Free McBoot installed on a PS2 memory card (Ver.1.8c) - Which I installed via my PS3 adapter. I have noticed online that people have saved programs to the main menu, I wanted to know how you go about doing that? Do I just put the program file on a USB stick then open it up in uLaunchELF?
The main one I want is 'GS Mode Selector' Which seems to transfer your games to play at 1080i which sounds great to me
So can someone advise me on what to do, as I have the Free McBoot installed on the memory card but am unsure of where to go next or what the latest version of 'GS Mode Selector' is.
Playing PS2 games at higher resolutions can actually make the graphics look worse.
Is there anyway to match the quality that the PS3 used to play them at? That is my main goal as it was perfect before it burnt out... But at the moment when games don't have the Progressive Mode at the beginning they look worse than DS 3D graphics...
I Just followed a video on how to put ELF's on the Free McBoot's main menu I got as far as to selecting the GS Mode Selector before it just froze.
I've also noticed if I press power on the PS2 with my USB stick in it doesn't get past the first Free McBoot icon before the menu... I can use the ELF's on uLaunch ELF but not place them on my main menu through the Free McBoot configurator
- It's a 16GB USB 2.0 USB Flash Drive it that means anything...
I now have a USB stick that works, how do I save apps onto the Free McBoot Menu on the Memory Card rather than the USB Stick?

use uLE to transfer them from mass to MC... then use the FMCB configurator to add them to the OSDSYS or.... just use uLE to launch them....
