I have swapmagic 3.8 and a V4 PS2. I put all the necessary files onto my flashdrive to for MCBOOT.

I put in my swapmagic and plug in my flashdrive , it shows the Playstation 2 screen but it doesn't boot up swapmagic. Once I unplug my flashdrive and restart without the flashdrive in , swapmagic boots up fine.

I've followed the turtorial at bootleg , and im still coming up short. :/
    Any suggestions?

probably your flash drive is at fault. what file system is it? it needs to be formatted to fat32. NTFS will not register on the ps2 at all. Even with homebrew.

you may also have to try a different brand. Some are just simply not compatible with the older drivers that it uses.
