It's a PS2 (Fat) SCPH-30001R, No mod chip The USB flash device I'm using is a Kingston Data Traveler 2.0
I have no problem loading the ulaunch ver. 4.26 or launching different ELF's (Cogswap; etc) but when I go to :/MASS to install FMCB it freezes with the USB plugged in, but If I take the USB out I can access the MASS folder. Just wondering if I need to get another flashdrive or maybe find another install method. Anybody got any ideas?

Ok I got it installed, took a little time But it's in.
    How I did it:
I installed all the ELF files onto MC01
started up Free MC Boot ELF
It said No boot Found but I took a chance and installed anyway.
(I know, it was risky) but oh well I've spent 2 weeks fighting with this thing.
Now I my PS browser shows (Browser;System configuration and uLaunch)
Now configure it to show ESR.

I'm not sure I understood what you did correctly, though I think so.

In that case all you need to do in order for ESR to be shown in the menu, and/or automatically invoked when booting with an ESR disc in tray, is to copy an appropriate ESR file into the folder "mc0:/BOOT/" using the exact name "ESR.ELF", which you should be able to do using the uLE FileBrowser. Suitable ESR elf files would be either "ESR beta r9b dvdv direct.elf" from the official release by ffgriever, or his separately released "ESR_GUI_test2.elf".

As for your USB problems, they might be due to drive incompatibility (the Kingston brand is know to be inconsistent when it comes to PS2 compatibility), or due to incorrect format. You need to have the USB drive formatted to a single partition using FAT32 filesystem.

    Best regards: dlanor

Thank you so much for telling me about the copy feature in ulaunch.
Now I have ESR on the PS2 Browser.
