need help

I want to soft mod my ps2 and I saw some tutorials that are not heavy but I saw that I need a disk (AR Max, CodeBreaker, etc..) so I can boot load the free mcboot
I saw that CodeBreaker can be put on CD but I understand that the PS2 will not read it
There are ways to load the mc boot without that CD and without any cips or other things ?

without a cd/dvd or a chip the only way to get FMCB is to use the INSTALL SERVICE.... pick someone near you and PM them to organise an install.
