My ps2 slim doesnt have a date code please help –
could somebody please help me identify if my ps2 is compatible with free mcboot i need to find the date code but i cant see it maybe one of you guys can here is a picture
1 thread is more than enough
veo que sos de argentina, hace cuanto la tenes la consola? tiene chip?
With no disc or memory card attached, boot up the PS2 and hit triangle to find out the software version. IIRC it'll tell you the BIOS version as well, can't confirm myself at the moment. You more than likely have one of the early SCPH-900xx models, which were manufactured just before datecodes started to matter. :P At least I hope so!
The bios version is only shown in uLE

you would need to do the FMCB 1.8c region-less install to use an American installed FMCB on this console . the only way to see if it works is to try it..........
