My Games not run on Free MC Boot! ='(

Hi everybody. Sorry my english but I'm portuguese.

I already installed sucessfully the Free MC Boot 1.8 in my Original Memory Card - SONY - 8MB.

I Apply Patch ALWAYS in ISO Games with ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a before burn my games, with minimum velocity, ALWAYS!!!. I burn games in "Verbatim DVD-R", and the games not run with ESR on Free MC Boot.. .

I insert the game and appears the message on ESR: Detecting... duration within 20 - 40 seconds and next: Unknown Media in Drive. Why??

Could be lot of things. You have to filter all options.

Version of PS2? The last versions could not work (I dont have sure)
Check if your ps2 is compatible



Not all games work.
Games that use USB devices don't work (eyetoy, etc)

The patched game, must be a copy from an original DVD Game.
Original Disc Games doesn't work, even if you burn in a DVD-R

EA Games normally cause problems need to do "Rebuild"

The best thing to do is to burn a game that you have sure that works with ESR and MC Boot.



Try another burn software. I use nero 8 (express) or alcohol.

2 reasons

First best programs for PS2 burning and ripping is ImgBurn and DVD Decrypter

Second burn auto or at half speed of Max and that should be 8x with Verbatim DVD-R

everything else seems ok but you may have the DVD rom in PS2 going bad also

My version of PS2 its: SCPH-30004 R (FAT). I always burned in DVD Decrypter/IMG Burn.~

I patched sucessfully game with ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a and I burned now Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories in 8x with IMG Burn - Verbatim DVD-R and not run on Free MC Boot :'(

One is this site do not codon piracy another could be bad rip by whoever made the torrent

The ISO could be your problem,...

It's not only because of piracy not beeing supported here, why we suggest you to dump your ISOs from your originals...
It's also because of this very exact reason...
ISOs could be dumped incorrectly. Those ISOs might work on modchipped PS2s, because they simply look at the ISO-Filesystem, but here... ESR and the ESR-Patch are dependent on the UDF-Filesystem.
