hey everyone
i was just wondering, i have a TERRIBLE modchip installed in my ps2 right now (the modbo 1.2) and my backups dont work. my game collection (over 90 games) are getting scratched day by day and i cant load backups, its just a horrible chip. i was wondering, does free mcboot work on a slim 70004 ps2 with the aforementioned modchip?

yes it should but you might have to disable the chip first. I have never had a mod chip in my PS2's so i have no idea how to disable it but from reading these forums for the last 6 years i have heard this tip over and over....
ill give it a try. the only thing it can mess up is my memory card, right? i have 5 of those.Quote:
