memory cards won't flash!!

i have 2 8mb sony mcs one red and the other is black and they won't boot!
i flashed them many times what do i do or are they not able to do this

since you left out pretty much every detail that could clue anyone in on helping you, I have to ask you these questions now.

1. did you create a mcid.bin for each card?
2. did you patch an image from each mcid.bin for each card?
3. was it done on a ps2 with a mod chip or not?
4. if not to question 3, was it exploited or using swapmagic?
5. did you go by the tutorial I posted?
6. is the correct region used to create your mcid.bin?
7. is the correct region used to patch your MC image?
8. what is your region?

Please answer with as much detail as possible. the more detail on this you provide, the better the chance of a solution for you.

Edit - also, my broadband connection is down, so I'm not going to attempt to create an image and post it as it would take the better part of an hour to upload on my dial-up connection.

1-for every mc do i have to get an mcid?
2-my 1st mc and it worked after i flashed it
3-no chipped systems at all
4-swapmagic 3.6 Plus

that might be my problem then cuss i didn't know i had to get the mcid.bin for all my mc's no one said to get it for all your mc thats the problem then thank you

Yes, each card as it's own unique id, so it is imperative that you do it for each and every card.

Yes, you got it. The mcid.bin is only working for the memory card that was in slot one while creating it.

Each memory card has its own mcid.bin... but the flashed memory card will work in every console of the same region.

thank you all i just flashed the red 8mb mc and bingo it it booted!!!!!!!!!!

8mb black works
8mb red works
64mb memplus deleted files copied em back by using luaunch but first had to unpack the files that jnabk gve me

going to make some for my friends
