I'm trying to install the current noobie package of FMCB using the swapmagic method. I followed the instructions, but was apparently not paying attention and removed the BOOT ELF file from the install folder when trying to copy it over to the swapmagic folder. When installing FMCB, I was given an error saying that I didn't have BOOT ELF, so I chose to cancel and the message box said the memory card will be left unchanged. Went back and put BOOT ELF in the right place. Now when I try to install FMCB does not detect my memory card and my PS2 does not detect the card at all from the system browser. The card is an official 8MB sony PS2 memory card.

Can anyone assist me with this? I tried formating the card in the FMCB install window, but it won't detect the card.

So I formatted the card with MCannihilator and then my ps2 system browser detects the card, but when I try to instal FMCB it won't detect the card and then the system browser won't detect the card either. Essentially I just have the same problem over and over again. Has this happened to anyone else?

Edit: Well, it just magically started working after I reloaded my ps2 about 10 times. Suddenly it detected the memory card and allowed me to go through with the install. As far as I can tell it installed without any issue.
