Yes, that is right.
@SamusKnight2K: Well,... The problem is,... After your PS2 searches on the MC for an update, it search one on HD.
So both, the original and the hacked OSD (<-- with SkipHD off) are searching for an OSD-Upgrade on HD then.
If it find an update, it uses it again as OSD-Replacement (and since it is searched AFTER the OSD-MC-Upgrade, it is used after the hacked OSDSYS found the Update on HD).
Maybe we´ll have official support later, or a custom replacement.
...and also it has nothing to do with the Fastboot-Option.
Seems people still don´t get, what it is for.
