But what does ESR have to do with what TNA has said about FMCB?

And the other one... Has this "mant" guy asked for permission to fiddle with ESR? Maybe it has slipped my mind, but I do not recall giving anything like that to someone using this handle?

    5. If you like to modify it - ask first. Maybe your changes can make into the official release... it will also make me able to keep everything clear (which is vital during beta stage... it would be hard to gather info on issues caused by many versions if not all were released by me).
    6. The ESR application cannot be used for commercial purposes under any circumstances.

If you redistributing ESR, please leave original names and the readme inside. Also, until stable version is made, do not embed ESR in other applications. It's necessary to keep the same nomenclature and version numbers. It will help me keep bug reports clean and understandable.
I had a reason to do it this way (but I already made few exceptions, just to be exact).

Unless he's just modifying FMCB launcher to detect DVDV and launch ESR from specified location if patched PS2 game is in drive (there is an easy to notice difference between DVDVideo and PS2DVDV game... the latter has SYSTEM.CNF file in root... there are many other ways to tell one from another, but this one is simplest and most likely most efficient).

But if it's just only about this, then I don't get why the mysteries . It's freaking simple to do, just a matter of few minutes.

I didn't get, that it was about the ESR.ELF itself.

That's why I've been asking, if there may be an incompatibility, if I initialize UDF with FMCB before and search for a SYSTEM.CNF, before the game starts.
I thought that there may be a few, if I start a game through this process.
I don't know, if ESR may interfere with it,...

    What do you think @ffgriever?

This will lead you to nowhere... There will be no SYSTEM.CNF in UDF filesystem. The SYSTEM.CNF and all other files are present in the ISO filesystem only. UDF contains only two directories and two files. Well, initializing it as for usual DVDPlayer won't hurt, but it won't also give you any advantages. To read the SYSTEM.CNF you'll either have to write custom ISO driver or use the methods ESR uses to read them (it's not the only method, but the most obvious one).

    Aaah,... Sorry I forget that.
...was mentioned in FreeVast-Thread also, "afai" remember correctly.

That was the point (+ because all want to have the 75KB-ELF), (why I thought) to let ESR differ between DVDV and ESR-DVDV.

Sorry for confusion and thanks for re-freshing my memories.
