Installing McBoot. non-modded FAT PS2, Friend's Mod Chip. HELP. –

Hey there i'm new here, I just want a question answered.
I have an unmodded FAT PS2, I want to put on Free McBoot to my memory card. I have a friend with a Modded FAT PS2 (mod chip). I've already read all the guides, but still want to make sure.
If i make a disc like the freemcboot site (freemcboot info/disc) and give him my Memory Card and The disc. All he has to do is??? To Boot the disc??
And will McBoot be installed on The MC???? With No changes To His Platform??
I read about a no menu thing and i don't want to mess up his console.
Plus will he have to do a normal install or a multi version install.
Both of us PS2 Came from the US.
So what i really want to know is if he installs Mcboot on my MC will i get McBoot to run on my Console?
And Will it make any changes to his console??
