Installing Free MCBoot
Installing Free MCBoot –

OK, I'm pretty sure I don't understand how all this works.
I want to install Free MCBoot, and for what I understand it works by installing something inside a memory card.
I'm wondering, if I have a way to transfer files directly from my computer to the Memory Card, can I install it that way?
I found this adapter that I connect to the memory card, and then I can connect the adapter to the PC through USB. Does MCBoot work this way?
If it doesn't, is there anny other exploit that I can use using only this adapter?
The adapter looks something like this:

Memory Card, connected to the adapter, connected to USB cable, connected to PC.
Thank you in advance (and please, don't be to hard on me if what I'm saying makes no sense at all
)

That adapter is for connecting PS2 memory cards to the PS3 and won't work. The installation must be done on the ps2 itself. If you have a way to boot homebrew, then use one of the following tutorials. If not, then use the free installation service.

The process of just copying the files from one card to another is NOT going to work. It must be INSTALLED to each card individually....

Yeah, that adapter in the picture isn't really the one I saw. I was so happy when I found it... But I have a friend with a PS2 that may help me.
Thank you.
