hey ffgriever,
first.. you have made a good program für hd user.
I have test the IGR with HDL 0.8c on a V4 Pal -> PAL Games works fine like CVS2 and Winning Elevene 2008 -> But if i try to start Games which i had convert from NTSC 2 PAL, i get only a black screen on all Games.
Ich have tried Metal Slug 4-5, MegaMen Anniversary Edition (mode3 enable, rest disable, mode3 disable and rest disable-same), it always the same.
I thought it is maybee interessting for the further development of the tool.
regards

I have what might be a "dumb" noobie question, i just got my MC card back today and am trying the IGR+HDloader option with guitar hero/rockband games (what i usually play)...my question is what would be (if possible) the buttons i could use on the guitar controller to simulate the buttons on the regular controller? Ive tried some different combos but havent hit one that works yet. Maybe its not possible? The guitar controller does have a "select" and "start" button to go along with the 5 colour keys so i thought it might work...Thanks for the time.

I dunno which guitar you have but if youve ever used a usb one (like the 360 ones) on a computer with somethin like Frets on Fire you can see in the gamepad area in windows that the buttons are actually mapped all crazy. It makes sense on the guitar but the actual input it sends to the console (or windows) doesnt make much sense at all. Some are even different depending on the make.
Id say without special support the reset isnt gonna work on a guitar.

Thanks for the reply Aridale, I just hooked up the regular controller to the second port and use that to do the reset. The guitar needs to be on the first controller port and i didnt want to keep changing the controllers just for the reset (assuming the regular controller also wanted to be on the first port) but the regular controller works on the second port.

Dear master ffgriever,
I would like to force games under HDLoader boot on VGA mode(s), like Xploder HDTV, Blaze VGA and PS2ZoneLoader do.
I have learned something about above stuff work:
- GS (Graphics Synthetizer)
- SetGsCrt Syscall (mode, interlace, field)
- DISPLAY1/2 parameters (DX, DY, Width, Size, MAGV, MAGH, ...)
Right after that, I made some experimentation and applied an experimental patch to HDLoader, starting it on Mode 0x1A (VGA640@60Hz)... Is it good? Yes, it is... But not enough...! It is useless without an TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident Module) to keep this mode working even after booting games from HDLoader.
So, I ask you: Could it be possible to share IGR source code on thread above with us?
I think it make my mission less painful, and I could share my results (patch or ELF) and sources to benefit both users and developer of PS2 community.
Of course, if it is not possible, I will certainly understand and respect your decision.
Anyway, any kind of help will be appreciated!

(My intention was good, but my action not)
I am so sorry about that. It will not repeat anymore.
