So when I use multi install,on my memory card are placed all the different osdmain.elf's for every version of the same region PS2,so if I want to use that card on another PS2(after uninstall fmcb but first make a bakup copy of it)can I just rename for example osd130.elf to osdmain.elf and place the save(McBoot.icn,icon.sys and osdmain.elf(renamed osd130.elf))back to the memory card will FMCB work on a PS2 that uses that osdmain130.elf

The whole point is to be able to install FMCB for the exact PS2 version without the unneeded files of multi install. For example...use multi install on v10 PS2,copy the B?EXEC-SYSTEM folder, uninstall FMCB,rename the osd???.elf file which is required for V4 PS2 of the same region to osdmain.elf and copy back the B?EXEC-SYSTEM(McBoot.icn,icon.sys and osdmain.elf)to the memory card and in that way that card will have installation for v4 PS2 only but is FMCB installed using v10 PS2

Edit:...I have a feeling that I misunderstand something

Im not sure why you would want to install the Multi-Version, then try to remove the additinal files, when you could simply just use Normal install for that.

If you meant that you installed using a specific console of the same region, then decided to use a different console only after the fact and wanted to use just the 'normal' files of the Multi-Version install, you could simply run the installer again FROM that console and select the un-install Multi-version and it will remove those files for you.

This would take the guess-work out of that and would give you the space back from those "dummy" files without losing it. This is exactly what the un install multi-version does, reverts a Multi to a Normal install.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

I kinda answer my question myself...I did exactly like you say.
I was just curious will it work by just renaming
