hi guys i just wonder how do i know if my PS2 is Pal or NTSC ( sry for this question im a noob at ps2 consoles)
First off you should find out your SCPH, which is quite easy.
With this you (or someone...) should be able to determine your ps2-version (and region) and say, which V-Mode it uses for standard (It still can differ, but there is a chance.).
The Number, which is on the backside (or bottom) of your PS2.
Not the Serial, but the SCPH-Model.
You can also see it, if you press TRIANGLE in your PS2-Menu/OSDSYS (where "Browser" & "Settings" are select-able.).
The Video Mode should be next to your Model Number and Serial.

Aaahh,... o.k., my suggestion was near it, but still a dumb/silly one.
I maybe should take one look more to the same "ticker" (before posting). --> That I didn“t remember this fact,... Damn!
