How do i get the game to autoboot with ESR?

I deleting ESR on memory card and copied the "ESR beta r9b dvdv direct.elf" that has been renamed to ESR.elf to the memory card through Launch Elf but the same thing happen. Well its 1:30 PM here, so I'm heading off to bed. I might be doing something stupid right now, cause I'm tired. But tomorrow morning, im gonna to reformat everything and try it once again. I might try my other memory card too, but the other one isn't Sony.

Have you tried to run this from those unmodded consoles too? I would at least try to rule out the console with the modchip your using as a problem, i also agree that its a bit odd you would be taken to the uLaunchELF screen. It noticed on my chipped consoles i get the MC browser screen on occasion.

I found thru experience a poor quality disc will give the same results, bringing you to the MC browser or uLaunchELF screens, so you might want to grab some different media and try that too.

I dont think its the problem with the ESR apps (memory card, dvd direct, dvd direct off) since your reporting the same result with each of those, including the GUI version which is what is used in the Noobie Package.

That option is only for directly starting a game/inserted disc/or mapped "ELF-Path"-App (only for ESR-Discs [yet]) if specified and specific disc-type is recognized.
The Fastboot-Option has nothing to do with the issue in any way.
But it helps if chips have issues with the hacked OSD, cuz the disc is started while Logo.

I got it working installing onto a 3rd party 64MB memory card. I think my memory card is kinda broken or something, I tried formatting/installing from the same flashdrive. The 8MB memory card that didn't work was a official Sony, I got it from a store here. It also look like a real card, the internal chips on the card look real like most of the ones Ive seen.

You can try to format your Sony-MC with MCA(Anihilator?!) from ffgriever.
Maybe it works after that.
