Hot to play unpatched backups?

Hello everyone i want to play backups with my ps2 i have the fmcb and my ps2 do not have a modchip, if someone know how to do this please help, i was thinking to do this with the swap magic ELF Version but i try it and when i put the disc and not boot it just restart the console, i was reading about the TOC (table of content) of the discs, but i dont understand. Help please.!

Swap Magic needs an original disc as swap disc, that's why it's SWAP Magic.

You can't play unpatched games without disc swapping with any softmods existing. Perioid.

^ yes you can you'd need to use cogswap or the swapmagic elf and have some way to switch the discs without the ps2 knowing.

But i have the smap magic elf file saved on the mc, how can i do..?

your gonna want to boot into swap magic using the highest toc game you can find ala san andreas or resident evil outbreak or the first devil may cry....then i havent used it in a while but i think you have to hit x to get it to read the disc first then you can switch it out.

So i will need to insert an original game disc? May be whichever game.?

yes as long as the toc is bigger or the same size as the game your trying to play
