I'm following this for my fat PS2
    PS2 Game Swap Trick

I'm trying to do this using my copy of Metal Gear Solid 3. So I made an image of my game, used Apache to change the TOC of NETDOWN.ELF to 915196. Downloaded the uLaunchElf rar found in the guide, and changed it to NETDOWN.ELF, and replaced the one on the disc with the new one, then burned the ISO to a DVD -R

I started my copy of MGS3 in my fat PS2 pushed start to get to the main menu, and hot swapped to the new disc. Everything ran fine, and I could choose whatever, so I know that worked.

Then I went to the Special menu, chose Camouflage Download and then got the red screen saying I needed to insert a PS2 disc.

So did I do something wrong in my burning process? I don't understand why this happened. Can I have some advice?

You can try to NOT change the TOC, but instead use 'padding' for the ELF (means the empty space between end of the new ELF and end of the original ELF is filled with zeros...).

How does one add padding to the file?

I would really like to try that. Since I can't seem to get any swap methods working nor can I find Agent Under Fire.

I'm not sure if Apache can do it for you, or you must do it manually.
It simply fills the rest of the 'space' with zero's (to match the same size).
