Yes i read the tut and i use ar max evo my ps2 is a slimline scph-77001 and im using a sony microvault usb with is formatted fat32. Now everytime i get to the media player and play the free_mcboot install my screen goes black so i decided to download the fceu.elf and insert it on my usb so i reset my ps2 and try the process all over but the problem is fceu.elf file does not show so i downloaded the ulaunch and it shows but either my screen goes black or it says cannot open fceu.elf do i have to properly organize these files in certain places on my usb or any specific folder? Any help will greatly be appriciated.

The best way is to have as few folders&files on your USB-Storage-Device as possible.

Just put one ELF 'per trial' onto the root of your device.
    PS2 V7/DMS3 V2 (FW:2.4b7); Seagate Baracuda 200GB
    PS2 V7/CC1.0 (FW:34 hacked v2 BM:2.1.6); Maxtor DiamondMAX9 PLUS 160GB
    PS2 SCPH-30004R; NoMod+NoLaser

    3xSony BBA
    3xSony MC 8MB
    MAX/Datel 16MB with Boot-CD
    MAX/Datel 32MB&64MB

    Custom FMCB 1.8b+ Beta-Build, my AIO 0.5, Sony&xRhino-Linux
