Help with Free MC Boot and Exploit

I need help on first of all knowing what Free MCBoot and Exploits are and how they differ and such things like that. I have a friend who told me he would hack my memory card so that i would be able to run burned ps2 games which he would sell to me on my ps2. i declined the offer being low on cash but now i would like that and he is nowhere to be found, thus i want to begin doing it myself. i need help on hwo to do it and what i need to do. i looked all over youtube but the tutorials are confusing with so many things going on and many lead to buying a modchip which i do not want to do. please help me out on what i have to do and if possible provide guides. thank you

As stated above, you need an empty Memory Card and some way to boot the FMCB installer on your PS2 (serveral ways can be found at the posted site above under "Tutorials on how to boot the Installer").

Or you can find someone at the Install Service thread to install FMCB for you free of charge.
