My PS2 (slim) is running Free McBoot 1.8, i've tried installing codebreaker several times, renaming Codebreaker 10.elf - and Codebreaker 9.2 / 9.3 .elf - to CB_launch. However whenever i go to launch codebreaker either from uLaunch or from the free McBoot menu i simply get a black screen.
All Help Is Much Appreciated,
Thanks in Advance,

the magic 8-ball says you have a SCPH-7500x or newer system and it doesn't like codebreaker's usb modules. This means you need to run it from teh memory card with NO usb drive attached. also, don't use cb version 10 since yoou have to have a codebreaker disc in the drive for it to work.
And btw why are you renaming CB to CB_launch?
That name is used by the patched CB and if you did patch it when you try to start a game,CB will look for a file named CB_launch and since that file IS CB it will be like this:
Start CB=>choose your cheats=>start the game(CB is loading CB_launch)=>the CB start again.
i have a codebreaker 9.2.elf in my usb flash disk and working fine with my ps2 slim v7 using ulaunchelf v4.40, just wait for a seconds, and close your ps2(not turn off) or insert game before launching it.hope it helps
- if you also have a modchip disable it
- do not use CB 10 ! Use 9.2 or 9.3 with HD Loader support .
- in FMCB config turn off "Fast Boot" and save
- in ULE config turn on "Disc Control" and save
- rename a copy of ESR.ELF to CB_launch.elf and place in the MC0/BOOT folder
- In CB there's an option for the tray disc to be ON or OFF, turn it OFF then save changes .
I made a custom cheat file that i'm sharing with you here . Try to place the entire PCB folder on the root on your MC, if it doesn't work then get just the CHEAT file , inside PCB .
