Help with AR MAX EVO

Hi. I recently got an AR Max EVO to put FreeMCBoot on my ps2. When I loaded it up, to my surprise, it was the newer model without the media player option. Some searching lead me to the XMAS loader/workaround/whatever. Unfortunately, I'm actually a pretty dumb guy, and the read me may as well have been in a different language. Right off the bat once it gets down to the instructions, it's telling me to do things with files not included in the package, for example. Would it be possible for someone to explain to me step-by-step how to use this thing in as simple instructions as possible? Remember, I'm dumb. Thanks in advance.

okay, replying to my own thread here, but whatever. I've been directed to try the PS1 exploit that's for the regular AR Max instead of the not easily understandable xmas thingie. Okay. I follow the clear instructions over at SKSAPPS. when it comes time to start doing the work on the PS2 instead of the PC (I.e. using the AR ) it doesn't read the files I've created/moved onto the USB stick--the one that came with the disc, so I know it's compatible. Any ideas?!
