Having trouble getting FMCB to install using AR-MAX
Having trouble getting FMCB to install using AR-MAX –
This is what I have:
-old "fat" PS2 (Model SCPH-50001)
-harddrive that works with it
-AR-MAX with Media Player (I assume it is EVO version)
I have been playing games off the harddrive with HDAdvance for years, but I recently got Suikoden V and it is incompatible with HDAdvance. So, I thought that FMCB would be the solution, since it can run a more advanced version of HDLoader which is compatible with Suikoden V.
Anyway, I have tried to install FMCB, and cannot get it to work. I put the FREE_MCBOOT.ELF, packed_fceu.elf, and INSTALL folder on my USB stick. Then, I tried to run FREE_MCBOOT.ELF from AR-MAX Media Player. I got a black screen and nothing happened. I couldn't run packed_fceu.elf, because it would not appear on the Media Player menu.
I have tried with many USB sticks, but none of them work (some FAT, some FAT32). What do I do?

you can run patched HDLoader via HDAdvance ..
just install this image ( HDLoader 0.8b ) via WinHIIP 1.7.6 and then throught the Main Menu of HDA on that image set Mode 3 and then run it ..
and if you want to install FMCB you should take a look at the guide in my signature they have everything explained ..
Thanks for the help! Everything is working correctly!
