I haven't been around the PS2 scene in awhile so forgive me for the noobish questions I'm about to ask:

    - I've been using Memory card exploit that boots from the PSX disc for years now. Should I switch to FMCB? What are the benefits/advantages over the memory card exploit? Would it be worth it to go through the trouble?

Well, if it's just that then I guess I'll just stick to the old exploit since I never use the PS2 drive anyways.. or are there other features that I don't know about?

You don't need to have a disk in drive anymore.

You can select any elf from the hacked OSDSYS like HDL/HDA, uLE, SMS, USBADVANCE......

    It works like a charm

The only negative point is that it won't load a elf file from HDD directly but for that we have uLE

    Best regards

Not to seem like I'm advertising but I've found that a lot of people have found my FMCB videos on YouTube to be very helpful. After looking back at it it seems I fell just short of making a video about the new v1.8 but I'm trying to get all setup and finish the videos I've been promising everybody. I hate being a procrastinator.

Link to the playlist I put together with all of my FMCB videos:
