    Hi,

Firstly I have a PAL SCPH-30003, swap magic 3.6 and an original Sony 8mb memory card.

I have had a search around so please don't burn me but i'm having a few problems with the old FMCB. I followed the tutorial word for word, or as far as I can tell I did. Put everything on my usb stick (including the PAL DVDELF.BIN) and then booted the ps2 with swap magic in the drive. It went into the FMCB installer screen and I selected to install the multi-version. There were no apparent problems during installation but for some reason when I tried to run the configurator after installation, it said that it could not find the configurator. I've included the FMCB_CFG.ELF in the correct folder.

I tried to reboot the ps2 and I can see the FMCB splash screen but then it just goes to the normal screen where you can select to look in a memory card or load a disc. And if I press circle at that point to go back, it goes to the normal sony menu and the only options are the "Browser" and "System Configuration".

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
    Cheers
    Guts

I apologise people, I think it was because my usb stick was formatted to FAT rather than FAT32. I obviously didn't read everything clearly. But it works now anyway.

    Cheers!
