Hi dudes. I have installed Free McBoot some time ago and now i was going to play some games again and some became really slow, on loading, on playing, etc... many breaks...

I have used Pleomax (from Samsung corporation) DVD-R 4.7 at 4x rate when burning. Do you think it's the DVD's (game recorded disks are at perfect conservation) or it's the Free McBoot that has became slow?

Thanks, and i hope to get some answers.

PS: If it's the DVD's do you think Sony DVD's are better?

    Well it depends:

-If you've used those same discs before and did not have a problem, then i'd guess its your lens thats dirty or out of adjustment. A quick swap with a bit of rubbing alcohol should do the trick.

-If you recently burned them and never used them before, then i guess its possibly those discs. I'd get better quality discs for best results.

The FMCB software shouldnt change in speed no matter how long it is in between using it.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
