I'm starting to belive that my nvram is in read only mode! I'm about to try to flash a file filled with 00x0h and see what happens. It can crash the mechacon?

Hey Black beard, the EEPROM you put here is from a 79001 console. I don't think lenschanger ever works with such a unit.

I'd like to mention that we now have a real possibility of making the HDD Browser 2.0 work on the PAL PS2s. (Actually on all PS2s that don't have HDD utility discs released for them)

A few years ago someone gave me very interesting files, like the final ELF file for the US HDD Utility disc. You use a PAL or JP console, put the disc in it and instead of launching the disc, you launch the elf with uLE for example or from host with PS2link and the utility disc will boot.

Using this same idea and an embed exploited launcher (in the place of the original US encrypted file) it might be possible to launch a fully decrypted ELF for the US HDD OSD.

Any people here thinking about it ?

IGR or In Game Reset

IGR or In Game Reset (for those who don't have XBOX consoles...)

Jimmi /Team can this be possible? If we are taking over the OSD i don't see why anything is not possible....

If we had IGR then we would not need to get up every time we wanted to change a game / change the app / etc. Simply hold down a combo of buttons on the game controller and bingo the console resets to the OSD screen...

What do you guys think?

Say if you press Triangle, Circle, Square, X, L2 and R2 at the same time then BINGO IGR. Ideally (v2 could be pick the button)

Am i wrong in thinking that this could work even after IOP resets because it would be part of the OSD?

What is ur friend's console region and what is urs? .If both are same, then u can probably reach somewhere. But the bittable will be useless unless u r using the same memcard. What is ur console ver and friend's? I mean the model number or so...
