I'm trying to install free mcboot using swap magic 3.6 plus + magic keys to load the uLe. But can't via usb (just keeps stuck at swap magic 3.6 plus menu), via cd and DVD (gives no valid ps2 dic).

    Any help?

    Edit: PS2 70004

Swapmagic 3.6 uses buggy USB drivers, and do not support some USB mass storage devices very well.

Try to use another device that has been formatted with the FAT32 filesystem, and try not to hotplug the device.

If you get the "No valid PS2 disc" message, your magic keys aren't installed properly as the PS2 can detect that the disc you swapped to isn't a Sony PS2 game disc.

Either that, or your new disc was not burnt properly.

I think that the keys are well installed, since my friend can play backups with it perfectly.

Can you give me a tutorial or something from which I can learn the right method for burning the CD/DVD?

    Thank you in advance

EDIT: Thanks for the help, but I already managed to boot Free McBoot DVD!!
