    So here's the deal:

I already have a modded (with modchip) PAL PS2 Phat (SCPH-39004<----it says this in bios but on the console it says SCPH-30004R,dunno why...).I used that one to install Free McBoot on an original 8mb Sony Memory Card.In the modded console, after I installed FMCB and reboot it just shows me the FMCB logo and restarts over and over again until I remove the memoy card, but that doesn't matter since it may be because of the modchip (don't ask,I even opened the console to check and I have no frickin' ideea what modchip it is).The real problem now is that when i put the memory card in my Slimline (SCPH-77004<---- both on the console and bios)it just boots directly to the normal PS2 Bios...

The method I used to install FMCB on the memory card was following the tutorial here:http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/disc.php. Once with and once without a DVDELF.BIN (renamed file DVDPLE.BIN to DVDELF.BIN for Europe consoles SCPH-xxxx4 that I obviously have,or not?)

I take it you formatted the memory card before installing FMCB to it?
Did you do a multi-version install?

There's a few (very few) modchips that don't allow FMCB to work, but it's rare. I'd say that if it's not working on your slim, it's simply a bad install.

Yes,after I moved every save game I needed to the other memory card,I formatted this one (from within FMCB installer) and did a multi-install,once with and once without the DVDELF.BIN. And just as a notice,I tried with both memory cards (both original sony 8mb)

EDIT:Both memory cards have transparent casings, one blue and one red,did Sony ever produce something like this?On the inside they both look the same and both have on the back written SCPH-10020,among other things like made in Japan and SCE.The blue one I got with the phat one and the red I bought it from someone,so their second hand...

Yes, they are standard twin pack cards.

I tried both, but as far as I know normal only works on the console you install it on. And like I said it doesn't even work on the modded one I install it on,after I install it and restart the console it shows me the mcboot logo and it keeps disappearing and appearing again... Like a restart, but the console itself doesn't restart (but as I said before I think the modchip is the problem for this).Anyway my objective is to succesfully make it run on the slim one.

It didn't say anything on the modchip,AT ALL! So I don't know what chip it is. I wanted to find out if it has dev1 and/or dev2 (but I think it's too old for that). Other than that there is no splash screen or anything like on the modbo 760 or other modchips...
