Is how all good gaming systems came to beHello, i recently bought a 39004 (pal) but when i put the memory card with fmc 1.8b, it totally by pass the load process ( the thing that normally happens when i put that card in the ntsc version)
the ps2 isnt chipped
may be its that?
the lens is worn out
thanks in advance
FMCB 1.8b and back is region restricted so NTSC MC will not work on a PAL system or a PAL MC with FMCB will not work on work on NTSC system
But 1.8c region free so if you can install 1.8c then you should be able to use it on any system

Is how all good gaming systems came to bethanks! i will try to find that version ( didnt know that exist!)
or This if you don't have PS3 to PS2 MC adapter

Is how all good gaming systems came to beHi
I have MCFRREBOOT working great for playing ps 1 and ps 2 backups and ps2 originals, but I cannot get original psx games to load without removing the modded ps 2 memory card.
I am sure there is an configuration setting to be able to load original psx games.
Everytime i try to play an original psx game I just get ulauncher loading up which obviously stops the disc from playing for you to swap.
The only way I can get psx games to load is to remove the modded ps 2 card.
I have a question for you guys:
Why can't FreeMcBoot run HDD items in OSDSYS? It only allows USB or MC0 or MC1 in my version of the Configurator.
I want to run OpenPS2Loader 9.1 off a folder in my HDD (in order to not mess up the OPL Config settings).
I'd prefer this instead of always having to run uLaunchELF just to get to OPL9 all the time.
Developers tried to keep it tiny, HDD means you have to use both DEV9 and HDD drivers. If you want to boot opl from your HDD try THIS (New way of booting FMCB for people with SONY HDD)
