Hello, i recently bought a 39004 (pal) but when i put the memory card with fmc 1.8b, it totally by pass the load process ( the thing that normally happens when i put that card in the ntsc version)
the ps2 isnt chipped
may be its that?
the lens is worn out

FMCB 1.8b and back is region restricted so NTSC MC will not work on a PAL system or a PAL MC with FMCB will not work on work on NTSC system

But 1.8c region free so if you can install 1.8c then you should be able to use it on any system
