Free McBoot 1.8 installer in 70010 freezes

I have a Sony PS2 70001, of course it is NTSC US region, I tried to install FMCB in a PS2 70010, NTSC Latin American region. This is the whole thing I did:

In 70001 I loaded uLaunchELF from MC1 and loaded from USB Stick FMCB installer with DVDPLM renamed to DVDELF.BIN and copied into INJECT folder. When I tried to install FMCB in MC2 the installer freezes trying to decrypt DVDELF, so, bad luck.
Then I tried to boot the 70010 one with my MC previously installed using multiversion, but no luck either.
Then I deleted DVDELF.BIN from the installer, the installer freezes again!
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I think everything is all right.

Any suggestions?

The installer must be done, on the same region that the card is to be used in.. DJ

So, what is the point of multiversion install?

Sorry, my PS version is 77001...
And I got the multiversion thing:

For example:

If I have a 75001 I can use a MC with FMCB installed in 77001, isn't it?

Bad luck with Latin American NTSC...

Yep, thats correct. The last digits is the region code and they have to be the same number to work in another console.
